Berea Man Facing Attempted Murder Charges After Alleged Shooting

A Berea man is now facing attempted murder and domestic violence charges after police say he shot his wife after a domestic dispute.

The citation states that police responded to Logston Heights Tuesday for a report of a person being shot.

The suspect, Aaron Clark was standing in front of the home when police arrived.

The victim was located in the home, with a reported gunshot wound to the head. Police say that Clark admitted to getting into an altercation with the victim before he shot her.

Clark was arrested on an Attempted Murder Charge, and was lodged in the Madison County Detention Center. Although the original charges were listed to include ‘murder’ on the Madison County Detention Center website, WBONTV9 has communicated with Berea Police Department, who confirm the victim of the shooting is still alive and being treated for her injuries and processed at UK Hospital.

All Charges have been Corrected.
