Rescue teams called to assist woman who went over 50 foot embankment in Wolfe County


Monday around 5:00 p.m., Wolfe County Search and Rescue team was requested by EMS to help evacuate a 52yr old female who was injured after her vehicle ran off the road and over a 50 foot embankment on Bethesda Mission Road.

Team members arrived on scene, and with assistance from Breathitt Wolfe EMS, Wolfe County Sheriff’s Office, Wolfe County Fire Department & Kentucky State Police evacuated the subject for EMS transport.
