Madison County traffic stop yields suspected meth and heroin

Early Sunday morning, March 13th, 2022, around 1:20a.m, Deputy Foster initiated a traffic stop in the area of S. Collins Street; for a traffic violation. The Deputy reported throughout the course of the traffic stop, verbal consent to search the vehicle was granted by the operator, Mr. Brandon Campbell. A subsequent search of the vehicle yielded the following:

• Suspected Heroin

• Suspected Methamphetamine Mr. Campbell was arrested and charged with the following:

• POSS CONT SUB 1ST DEG 1ST OFF (HEROIN)• POSS CONT SUB 1ST DEG, 1ST OFF (METHAMPHETAMINE)
