According to Madison County Sheriffs office, on Tuesday January 24th, around 2 a.m., Deputy Quiles initiated a traffic stop, for a traffic violation, on Berea Road.
Deputy Quiles reportedly detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.
As a result of the traffic stop and subsequent search of the vehicle, The operator, Charles Sparks, was arrested and charged with Traffic/Equipment Violations, Trafficking Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), Trafficking Controlled Substance (Heroin) and Trafficking Marijuana.
Sparks was transferred to the Madison County Detention Center.
