Emergency repairs begin immediately following hole in roadway

Drivers who use KY 746 in Menifee County near the Wolfe County line will need to find an alternate route beginning immediately, as a large hole has developed in the pavement due to a failed drainage pipe that has made the road impassable.

Work has begun to replace the pipe at milepoint 0.2. The road will be closed indefinitely until repairs can be made.

The affected location is near the intersection with KY 2071, 0.2 miles north of the Wolfe-Menifee county line.

No marked detour will be posted, but drivers can use KY 2071 and KY 3341 while the road is closed and repairs are ongoing.

Between 200 and 300 vehicles use this section of KY 746 each day.
