Identity of Jigg Water Rescue Victim Released

The Madison County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a missing woman in the early morning hours of Wednesday, June 16, 2021.

Patricia Keith, 49 of Madison County was reported missing and believed to be in the Jigg Water area.  
The Kentucky State Police Aircraft Section was requested by the Madison County Sheriff’s Office and spotted Ms. Keith in the water of the creek.  KSP Aircraft relayed  the information to units conducting the ground search, resulting in the rescue.
 
Patricia Keith was transported to Baptist Health Richmond as a result of her injuries.  
The Madison County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by The Kentucky State Police Aircraft Section, Madison County EMA, Madison County Fire Department, Madison County 911, and Richmond Fire Department.
