Richmond Police recently made a sizable drug bust following a narcotics investigation. According to the Richmond Police Department, on April 1st around 11 p.m., officers executed a search warrant at a residence located at 206 McDaniel Ave following an ongoing drug investigation.
Upon executing the warrant, police made contact with the tenants of the residence, identified as 34-year-old Demetrius Terell Marshall and 34-year-old Walter Robert Bryant.
During the search, police located and seized over $15,000, approximately 0.8 grams of suspected heroin, approximately 25.8 grams of marijuana, a loaded handgun, suspected Oxycodone, multiple digital scales, and a bottle of suspected Promethazine.
Bryant was issued a citation for trafficking in marijuana (less than 8 oz.).Marshal was arrested and charged with the Possession of controlled substance 1st degree (drug unspecified), Trafficking in a controlled substance 1st offense (heroin), Possession of marijuana, Possession of drug paraphernalia, and Possession of controlled substance 3rd degree.
