The flood damage persists in Estill County, and unfortunately, one very important component of flood relief was affected as well: God’s Outreach Food Bank.
WBONTV spoke to Assistant Director Amanda Agee, who said that there is an estimated $80,000 in lost food that was contaminated during the flood.
Agee says that there may be more losses as the Agriculture department will have to come in and conduct an assessment at the food bank.
