Madison County Health Department Announces Link for Waiting List for COVID-19 Vaccinations

The Madison County Health Department has created a link for Madison County residents to use to be placed on a waiting list for a COVID-19 vaccine from the health department:

This list allows the health department to record contact information for those who request a vaccine, classify persons in the appropriate phases for receipt of the vaccine, and place them on a waiting list. For a graphic of the vaccine phases, go to this link on Kentucky’s kycovid19 website:

Persons who use the waiting list link will be notified by phone or email to contact the health department to set an appointment when vaccine is available.

According to public health director Nancy Crewe, “Because of vaccine supply limitations and the distribution of the vaccine in phases, there may be a wait before you can be vaccinated. Vaccine is administered as it is received by MCHD in the order of the phases set by Federal and state guidance. Everyone in Madison County will have access to a vaccine.” Crewe added, “Watch our social media platforms for updates as to when vaccination phases begin.”

  1. I listed my name and my wife’s on the sign up list for a vaccine shot. I noted that I was 87 with congestive heart failure. My wife is 76 and has spinal stenosis and other major heath issues but spinal stenosis and her other health issues are not listed as items to be checked.
We both would like to get vaccinations as soon as possible because of her ages and health issues.
    Thank you,
    Dean Acker
