As LaRosa’s continues to build its brand in Central Kentucky, having entered Lexington along with Skyline in May 2019 with its Richmond Road/Lexington full-service, dine-in and carry-out restaurant, LaRosa’s continues to look for expansion opportunities. LaRosa’s Richmond/Lantern Ridge Road, near State Route 876 and 1-75, is under construction now, with a projected late Spring grand opening.
LaRosa’s recently announced that it will open its Nicholasville family pizzeria in early 2021. LaRosa’s Richmond/Lantern Ridge Road will be a 6,437 square foot restaurant that will include dine-in, pick-up and delivery of its family-recipe pizzas and other Italian favorites with a 160-person capacity dining room. The restaurant will also feature a patio, large parking lot, full-service bar and a “Buddy Room” for parties and events. “The onset of the novel coronavirus has posed many challenges as we continued our expansion plan. As soon as it was feasible to move forward and begin construction, we did, and we are on track to hit our planned opening timing for 2021”, said Gary Holland, One Holland Corporation, franchise owner of the Central Kentucky LaRosa’s, Skyline and First Watch.
“We’re hopeful that as 2021 unfolds that we’ll be able to welcome and serve Richmond residents and the Eastern Kentucky University student body in the way that our LaRosa’s Guests expect”, he continued.
LaRosa’s was founded in 1954 on Cincinnati’s West Side by Buddy LaRosa. It is now a $167 million restaurant company with 64 pizzerias serving neighborhoods in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.
