Two Arrested During Laurel County Drug Bust


Laurel County Sheriff’s Office is reporting an arrest of two individuals at a motel in southern Laurel County on Monday night December 7th after receiving a complaint of possible drug activity by occupants of a room there. Upon arrival at the scene deputies found two individuals in a room and located suspected methamphetamine, a loaded needle, a glass meth pipe, and other paraphernalia there.

The two arrested individuals were identified as 40 year old Brian Lynn Moore of Corbin and Nikki Brumett (age 38) of London who were both charged with possession of a controlled substance (first-degree first offense) methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. In addition, Moore was wanted on a Knox District Court warrant of arrest obtained by Knox County Sheriff’s Office.

These two individuals were lodged in the Laurel County correctional center.
