If you are experiencing mild COVID-19 symptoms, there are many testing sites available in the area.
Baptist Urgent Care, located at 648 University Shopping Center, provides COVID-19 testing seven days a week. Hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday-Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Phone (859) 623-1950 for an appointment.
Urgent Care patients must wait in their car until time for their appointment. Walk-in appointments are available. If an Urgent Care provider thinks you need a higher level of care, they will transfer you to the emergency department.
A complete list of COVID-19 testing sites available in state, can be found on the official Kentucky website for COVID updates.
At the time of publication, White House Clinics, Berea Primary Care, Madison Family Clinic, Family Healthcare Clinic, Central KY Urgent Care, Berea Urgent Care, and The Little Clinic of Richmond all offer options for Madison County citizens to get COVID testing completed.
However, if a person is experiencing a medical emergency, it is advised that they visit the Baptist Health Richmond emergency department. The ER is for anyone experiencing a medical emergency that if left untreated, poses an immediate threat to life or limb.
