Warrant Execution Leads to Drug Arrest for Madison County Woman

On Monday of this week, the Madison County Sheriff’s Office was reportedly called to a Brooks Road residence to execute a warrant.

Deputies report making their way to the back of the residence and knocking on the bedroom door of 33-year-old Jessica Hawkins. When Hawkins opened the door, deputies allegedly observed various baggies, syringes, and a meth pipe in plain view.

Hawkins reportedly admitted that the paraphernalia was hers. Deputies ran a background check on Hawkins and was advised of a warrant out for her arrest. Deputies placed Hawkins under arrest and she was lodged in the Madison County Detention Center on charges of Trafficking a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st and 3rd degree.
