On Sunday, Richmond Police officers report responding to a call from 311 Lancaster Avenue in reference to a domestic violence complaint.
Upon arrival, officers report being met by the boyfriend, who advised he came over to the house to retrieve his property. When arriving, he stated an argument between him and 29-year-old Heather Stamper had occurred, which resulted in Stamper allegedly hitting him in the face. The boyfriend stated that Stamper refused to give him his items.
Police report the boyfriend having a physical injury on his right cheek, with swelling and bruising. When police spoke with Stamper she stated she did not hit him. When speaking with the father, James Grimes, who was present during the incident, he stated the two had physical contact and he separated them.
Stamper was arrested on Charges of Domestic Assault and was transported to Madison County Detention Center.
