Kentucky Restaurant Association: Freestanding Bars to Close for Two Weeks

The Kentucky Restaurant Association has announced that freestanding bars will close for two weeks starting at 5 p.m. Tuesday following a new decision by Governor Andy Beshear’s office in order to help flatten the Coronavirus curve.

Bars will have to shutter their doors Tuesday, and restaurants will be limited to 25% capacity for indoor seating. Outside seating will be able to continue as long as social distancing measures are in place.

Governor Beshear will go into more detail during this afternoon’s address on the new measures that will be put in place.
