Former Colonel Corey Walden Signs With Serbian Pro Team


Former Colonel Corey Walden has signed with Crvena Zevezda of the Serbian league. Walden had played for Partizan of the same league but bought his contract out to play for Partizan.

Walden averaged 6.5 points and 3.3 assists last season with Partizan. In the playoffs his production went up as averaged 9.8 points a contest.

In 2019 Corey played in Israel where he named MVP of the league and 1st team all conference and All Star.

Walden has played for five professional teams since leaving Eastern Kentucky. As a senior he averaged 18 points and was named MVP of the OVC tournament and was a first team conference selection. He was a two time defensive player of the year winner in 2014 and 2015.
