Despite the closure of schools, Madison County Food Service is still working overtime to make sure all kids under the age of 18 are fed.
WBONtv’s Marisa Hempel spoke to Scott Anderson, Food Service Director, to get all the details about the seven locations that kids can get their meals with little restrictions.
The Kentucky Department of Agriculture has also been working with Madison County Schools, according to Anderson in order to get the best Kentucky Proud and healthy foods for local students.
Anderson elaborates that there is also a special meal with deli meats Wednesday that will be served in order to get families outdoors and possibly picnic to keep spirits high this week despite many shutdowns. Watch the video above to get all the details!
