EKU Interim President Gives Update on University’s New Policies amid Coronavirus Outbreak

Following the decision of many educational institutions to close for the semester or go to online-only formats, WBONTV met with Eastern Kentucky University Interim President Dr. David McFaddin on to discuss the University’s transition during the COVID-19 outbreak.

This decision was made on Tuesday, March 17 and the online-only format will take effect immediately. Dr. McFaddin says that this will be the new method of learning for students for the remainder of the Spring 2020 semester.

Dr. McFaddin gave us insight on how EKU has handled this national pandemic, as well as how the University will continue to handle it should this outbreak persist into the Summer, or even Fall, semesters.
