Beam setting operations scheduled for I-75 project in Madison County


The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that this advisory serves as an update. Operations continue for the Interstate 75/KY 627 interchange reconstruction project at Exit 95.

Tuesday, March 24 – 12 a.m. (midnight) until 6 a.m. – Southbound

Wednesday, March 25 – 12 a.m. (midnight) until 6 a.m. – Northbound

Interstate 75 – Exit 75

Beam setting operations for Phase II of the project will be in effect at milepoint 95:

o   motorists will be detoured off of Interstate 75 and onto the Exit 95 Ramp

o   there will be no left turn onto KY 627

o   the bridge on KY 627 will be closed

o   traffic will follow a signed detour to proceed on KY 627


o   flaggers will be onsite to guide, and direct traffic

o   signage will be in place to assist the traveling public

Motorists are advised to be aware and utilize extra caution in the construction zone.

All work, and closures are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies, and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
