A beautiful sunny start to your Thursday, but by the end of the day we will see some active weather move into the area.
Morning and early afternoon will be calm and warm, highs for today in the upper 60s. We could get really close to 70 degrees. As we move into the evening, we will start to see the change over as that new system moves into the area. With this system, the conditions will be right for strong winds, very heavy rain, hail and the possibility of tornadic activity. The greatest chance for the most severe weather will be just off to our west.
Make sure you stay weather aware as we move through the evening and into the overnight. Lows tonight will be back down in the mid 40s and by early tomorrow morning, the threat for severe weather should be gone.
Tomorrow, highs in the upper 50s will be a little more seasonable for this time of year, with mostly cloudy skies. Taking a look into the weekend, the temperatures are going to take a hard hit with highs in the 40s and the possibility for some more rain.
