The rain continues, but as we move into the evening and overnight, the rain will start to transition from rain to snow.
Today, light rain showers will persist through most of the day with highs only topping out in the mid 40s. Tonight, the temperatures will begin to drop and we will see the rain transition into snow before tomorrow morning.
Snow accumulations will vary from a few tenths of an inch to a couple of inches across the state. Here in Central Kentucky, we should see just over an inch.
Tomorrow could see hazardous driving conditions for your morning commute with highs for the day staying very chilly, reaching just into the low 30s for daytime highs. The extended forecast is still looking wet. We have a chance for rain or snow every day until the middle of next week.
