Rain, rain, and more rain! That is the forecast for the rest of the week, with the exception of a short break tomorrow.
Today has much cooler highs, topping out at just around 45 degrees, that is a 20 degree drop in just over a couple of days. Tonight will see the rain continue with locally heavy downpours, especially in the Southern counties.
Much of the Southern part of the state is covered by a flash flood watch. If you live in a flood-prone area, watch out for rising conditions.
Tomorrow, we are going to get a brief warm-up, and the chance for these rain showers to be a little more sporadic. Highs will be in the low 50s.
We are keeping an eye on the forecast this weekend, as Friday could see some rain-snow mixes to start off the day.
