Update on Downed Radio Station After Severe Storm Damage


Saturday, storm damage caused the Wallingford Media Group’s WEKY- AM-1340 to leave the air. Reports of repairs are under way, General Manager of Wallingford Media Bill Clary States that “in the meantime, we have also taken Y-92.5 FM off the air until repairs are complete.” They report working to return both stations to the air waves as soon as possible.

Clary also states that sports broadcasts that have been scheduled to air on WEKY- AM and Y-92.5 will now air on the sister station of 103.5 WKXO for the time being.
