Almost two months have passed since the excitement of the general election swept over the Commonwealth. However, the day that Kentucky constitutional officers new and already established will be sworn into office is quickly approaching.
The inaugural ceremony has been scheduled for next Monday morning at the Capitol Rotunda in Frankfort. It will be the second term for Auditor Mike Harmon, Treasurer Allison Ball, and Agriculture Commissioner Ryan Quarles.
Newly elected Governor Andy Beshear was replaced in his role as Attorney General by Daniel Cameron who was appointed last month to fulfill the term.
Cameron will be joined by Secretary of State-elect Michael G. Adams as they are officially sworn in for their respective first terms.
