Laurel Co. Sheriff’s Officers Arrest Man Claiming to Have “Used Meth Every Day of His Life”


Laurel County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a southern Laurel County roadway on Sunday morning in response to complaints about a male subject reportedly yelling while lying on the ground.

When officers arrived at the intersection of Highway 1223 and Bryley Road, they located the man, later identified as Brian May of Hinkle, allegedly crawling in the middle of the roadway with no shirt or shoes.

According to authorities, May was screaming and was determined to be under the influence. May stated to police that he had used meth every day of his life.

May was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center, where he was charged with Public Intoxication (Controlled Substances) and 2nd Degree Disorderly Conduct.
