The rain is finally wrapping up, but what we have some very cold temps and flood conditions throughout the state left hanging around. Over the past 48 hours, we have seen rainfall totals right around 3 inches. That is a lot of rain in a short period of time. Generally, we would see just under four inches for the entire month.
Make sure when you come upon flood-prone areas, don’t drive over the water. Now that the rain is gone, some of those areas should subside fairly quickly, though.
Highs today will stay cold, topping out in the upper 30s. Tonight, we will finish drying out and drop down into the low 20s.
Tomorrow is still looking cold with daytime highs around 36 degrees, but we will start to warm by the end of the week and on into the holiday.
