Deputies in Laurel County are currently investigating a reported theft involving a tractor and a mower.
The investigating deputy reports that apparently an individual entered a barn, and stole a green-colored John Deere cab farm tractor. The tractor was equipped with a front end loader and a 10 foot Bush hog on the back.
During the theft of the tractor, the suspect caused extensive damage to the barn and an antique truck in the barn. The stolen vehicle then traveled eastbound across KY 192 in London where the tractor can be seen on video surveillance at approximately 4:11 a.m.
The tractor was found by Sheriff’s deputies abandoned on Hal Rogers Parkway near North Laurel middle school at approximately 5:38 AM. London Laurel County crime stoppers is offering a $4000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the individual(s) involved in the theft and damage. Information will be kept strictly confidential.
