Richmond Man Arrested on Alleged Drug Charges Inside Local Liquor Store


An anonymous call regarding a subject allegedly selling narcotics inside of a local liquor store led to an arrest inside the establishment after it was determined the subject had an active warrant out for his arrest.

Richmond police report arriving on scene at LP Liquors, and locating the subject, 31-year-old Casey Hensley inside playing pool. Hensley was then detained and escorted outside to undergo a body search. Officials allegedly found a green baggie containing a small amount of methamphetamine in Hensley’s pocket, as well as a wrapped up dollar bill that also contained a small amount of methamphetamine.

Hensley was transported to the Madison County Detention Center on charges of possession of a controlled substance.
