  • Eastern routed Berea College, 113-63, in its lone exhibition last Thursday. The Colonels attempted 91 shots and forced Berea into 25 turnovers on the night.
  • Sophomore Jomaru Brown and senior Lachlan Anderson both scored 19 points to pace six Colonels in double figures vs. Berea.
  • Brown was voted to the Preseason All-OVC Team late last month. The guard from Raleigh, North Carolina earned OVC All-Newcomer Team honors last year after averaging 14.4 points-per-game (16.9 points-per-game during OVC play) as a freshman.
  • The Colonels broke the EKU single season record for steals in 2018-19 (317).
  • EKU ranked 13th in the country in scoring in 2018-19 (82.6 points-per-game). The Colonels also ranked second in the country in steals/game (10.2) and turnovers forced/game (18.2).

  • Chattanooga went 12-20 (7-11 SoCon) last season.
  • The Mocs return only one of their top four scorers from last year – 6-8 forward Ramon Vila (10.2 points-per-game).
  • This will be the fifth all-time meeting between EKU and Chattanooga. The Colonels lead the series, 3-1, and defeated the Mocs, 81-78, last November in Chattanooga. Nick Mayo scored 40 in that win.

The Colonels go on the road to face No. 2 Kentucky at Rupp Arena on Friday night, Nov. 8, at 7 p.m. ET.
