It’s looking like a gloomy day out there in the Bluegrass. As we move into the afternoon and evening, the rain is going to start coming down.
Depending on where you are across the state, you are looking at rainfall totals from 1-2 inches. With the amount of rainfall that we are expecting over the next 24 to 36 hours, it is very possible that we could see some localized flooding, keep an eye on that if you live in a flood-prone area.
Today, highs are a little cooler, topping out in the low 60s. Overnight, the rain will move in and the temps will drop into the mid 40s.
Saturday, we will start and end the day with rain, and a window of clear skies in the middle of the day. The rain will wrap up on Sunday in the early morning hours, making way for some sun with highs in the low 60s.
