Laurel County Sheriffs Make an Arrest Following an Alleged Assault


Laurel County’s Sheriff’s Office report making an arrest of a female subject in London regarding an assault complaint. The arrest occurred off White Oak Road on Sunday evening at approximately 5:46 PM.

While en-route to the scene deputies were advised that a female subject, 35-year-old Shauna Michelle Tuttle had allegedly attacked another person at the residence and was attempting to break out the window of a vehicle there. When deputies arrived at the scene, they located Tuttle who was sitting in a vehicle honking the horn continuously.

Deputies detected the odor of alcoholic beverages emitting from Tuttle and conducted an investigation determining that she was under the influence. During the investigation deputies also learned that allegedly this individual became belligerent with a female subject there, pulling the subject by her hair off her porch, throwing her to the ground and punching her in the face and head with her fists.

Shauna Michelle Tuttle was charged with assault – 4th degree and alcohol intoxication in a public place. This individual was lodged in the Laurel County correctional center. Photo of accused attached is courtesy of the Laurel County correctional center.
