Tonight Will See Lows Around 50 and a Meteor Shower!

What a great day here in the Bluegrass! Beautiful weather with cooler temps and sunny skies are out there to help you make it through your Tuesday!

Highs today are hanging right around 70 with a good amount of sun. Tonight, lows will be dropping to right around 50 degrees for overnight lows.

If you are out and about tonight, take a look up at the sky. Tonight is the peak of the Draconid meteor shower, which is expected to produce about 8 shooting stars per hour. With this shower, an outburst is also possible which could make up to 100 meteors visible per hour.

Try to find a dark spot away from any lights and take a look, and if you can catch any part of the shower on video, send me a copy at and we might use it on the daily forecast tomorrow!

Speaking of tomorrow, it will be a little warmer with highs in the mid 70’s.
