The End of Intense October Heat is in Sight

It’s still hot, but the end of the unseasonable weather is near. Highs for today are breaking records again! The old record was 91 degrees set back in 1953, and we are currently sitting above that mark with daytime highs busting that record by about 7 degrees.

Tonight will still be warm, with lows dropping to around 70. Tomorrow, we will get one last day of heat before the cool-down moves in on Friday. Thursday is looking to be just a little cooler, topping out around 90 degrees. That is still 15 degrees above normal and there is still almost no chance of rain.

The heat will move out for the weekend, and rain will return to the forecast to start off next week.
