Warm Night for Football, Slight Cool Down for Saturday

The mid-September heatwave continues, but we should get a slight cool down on Saturday. Today, highs soar back into the mid-90s. If you add the dew point, we are again looking at temps feeling like they’re near 100 degrees.

Tonight, it’s going to be a great night for football. It’s just not going to feel much like football weather, temps only dropping into the low 70’s. Tomorrow, that very brief cool down will happen as temps will only rise into the mid 80’s, about ten degrees shy of what we have had all week long. This is still above average for this time of the year.

Sunday, the heat cranks back up into the 90’s where it will stay for at least the first couple of days of the work-week. Make sure you tune in tonight for our game of the week, a doubleheader as Central takes on Lexington Christian and Southern battles Danville in the Doc Sipple bowl.
