Berea Man Urinates in Water Fountain at Public Library


Berea Police responded to a complaint that a male subject, 37-year-old Grant Graham, was causing an annoyance at the Berea branch of the Madison County Public Library.

According to the citation, a witness claimed that Graham proceeded to urinate in the water fountain located outside of the men’s restroom in the lobby. When police arrived, they made contact with Graham. The arresting officer alleges that Graham’s speech was heavily slurred and that he was unsteady on his feet.

The witness also claimed he saw Graham drop pill bottles during the incident. Authorities reported that he appeared to be under the influence of “some type of drug”.

Graham was arrested and taken to the Madison County Detention Center where he was charged with 2nd Degree Indecent Exposure, Public Intoxication (Controlled Substance), and 2nd Degree Disorderly Conduct.
