Shots Fired in the Richmond Area Lead to Arrest


Richmond Police report making an arrest after hearing gunshots coming from the area of South Madison and South Collins street.

Police immediately report proceeding to the area of disturbance where officers report observing multiple people exiting a house on South Madison. Police questioned the witnesses who stated that the suspect fled in a black sedan.

Officials report locating a 21-year-old Kelvin Robinson driving a black sedan at an intersection very close to the area of the alleged shooting. A traffic stop was initiated and Robinson reportedly told police that he was the one who did the shooting. Robinson also told police that his gun was located in the vehicle.

He was placed under arrest on charges of having an invalid operators license and wanton endangerment.
