Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is now recovering after what has been deemed a successful surgery. He is now reportedly still taking time off and resting at his Louisville home.
Following a fall a day after his spirited Fancy Farm appearance, McConnell suffered a fractured shoulder at his Louisville home.
The following statement was issued from the Communications Director for McConnell:
“Senator McConnell had successful surgery yesterday in Louisville, Kentucky to repair a fracture in his shoulder. The surgery was performed without incident, and the Leader is grateful to the surgical team for their skill.”
