Garage Burglary Leaves Laurel County Trio Running on Empty

Laurel County Sheriffs arrested three suspects linked to a burglary which took place at a garage near Kentucky Highway 312.

According to the citation, police learned that two female subjects, Dustin Napier and Latasha Bryant, and one male subject, Timothy Storms, had reportedly entered the garage and took a 5 gallon gasoline jug. What the suspects did not know, was that the jug contained peroxide and not gasoline.

Allegedly, the suspects’ vehicle broke down nearby where they then attempted to enter a gated field by unlatching the gate and pushing their broken-down vehicle inside. Deputies also determined that one of the female subjects, Napier, had reportedly ingested Suboxone there and refused to spit out the pills taken. Additionally, the other female suspect, Byrant, was allegedly found to be in possession of a glass pipe and Gabapentin.

All three suspects were arrested near Rooks Branch Road, and were transferred to the Laurel County Detention Center. All three individuals were charged with 2nd Degree Burglary and Criminal Trespassing; Napier and Bryant were additionally charged with Public Intoxication, Disorderly Conduct, and Tampering with Physical Evidence.
