Heavy Rain Brings Cooler Temps and Flash Flood Warnings

The heatwave is finally subsiding and what is left over is a lot of rain and some much cooler temperatures.

The rain came down so hard and so fast that we have several flash flood warnings throughout the state. Looks like those warnings will last through the rest of the day for central Kentucky.

Today, locally heavy rain with temps in the upper 70’s. Tonight we see the rain move out of the area and temperatures falling to around 60 degrees. Tomorrow, the rain is gone and we are in for a stretch of absolutely beautiful weather.

Highs for Tuesday, below average, topping out in the upper 70’s. The rest of the week is looking spectacular with highs in the upper 70’s to low 80’s and lots of sunny skies. Doesn’t get much better than that.
