The Berea College Farm Store is offering a lot when it comes to fresh food, and WBON-TV’s Samantha Burford went there to see what was on display.
Healthy and organic is the order of the day, and that pertains to both produce and meats. According to store manager, Tammy Cornett, the Store grows their own flour and harvests their fruits and vegetables from the Berea College Farm.
Although The Farm Store is staffed with Berea College students, you don’t have to have a student ID to enjoy what’s on the menu. Anybody is free to come in and pick up a delicious, nutritious meal.
From Tuesday to Friday, the Store serves lunch from 12pm-6pm. On Saturdays, they’re open for breakfast starting at 9am.
