Officials responded to six separate incidents that happened in Mount Vernon over the weekend regarding structure fires and car accidents.
The Mount Vernon Fire Department was dispatched to assist with a residential structure fire on South Wilderness Road on Saturday at 11 P.M.
At the same time, they also responded to a two vehicle injury accident on South Wilderness Road. Reports state that a car and motorcycle were involved.
On Sunday, MVFD was dispatched to a residential fire alarm on Falcon Lane. No fire was found.
Shortly after, MVFD was dispatched to a residential structure fire on Big Cave Road. As units were clearing the structure fire, they responded to a non-injury accident on Hwy. 461.
Then, fire units responded to a commercial vehicle accident on South Wilderness Road involving an overturned piece of equipment. The driver only received minor injuries. Picture is attached above.
