KSP Asking for Public’s Help Following Shell Station Death Investigation

Kentucky State Police are asking for the public’s aid in a death investigation after a man was found dead inside the cab of a semi at the exit 95 Shell station Tuesday night.

The tractor-trailer had been parked unmoved at the gas station with the ignition on since Monday.

KSP reports that this seems to be a suspicious death in these early stages of the investigation, stating that it was not a drug overdose or natural caused-death.

An autopsy in Frankfort for the man was performed today. His identity has yet to be released.

The Madison County Coroner told WBONtv that not many details can be released at this time due to the nature of the case.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Richmond Kentucky State Police 7 post at 859-623-2404.
