Louisville man arrested after allegedly sending inappropriate e-mails to a juvenile


A Louisville man was arrested by Madison County deputies recently for allegedly sending inappropriate e-mails to a 16-year-old juvenile.

A complaint warrant states that during the month of April-May, 43-year-old Gerald Wells allegedly solicited sexually explicit videos and pictures from the victim.

On two separate occasions, Wells reportedly contacted the victim via e-mail and phone call from the Community Transition Services in Louisville to the victim who resides in Madison County.

Wells was charged with prohibited use of electronic communication system to procure a minor and lodged in the Madison County Detention Center.
