Search Continues for Missing Laurel County Man Believed to Suffer From Depression


The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office is continuing their search for a missing man reportedly suffering from depression.

53-year-old Tony Gibson was last seen off Johnson Road east of London on May 1, 2019. He is described as a 5’5″, thin build and weighing 135 pounds. He is bald above the ear hair and has sideburns.

Gibson was reportedly last seen wearing blue or green t-shirt with front pocket on chest and blue jeans and boots.

The sheriff’s office gathered additional agencies and continued their search Friday. The agencies involved are London-Laurel Rescue Squad, Laurel County Emergency Management, and The Cumberland Valley Mounted Search and Rescue Team.
