Kentucky State Police Discover House of Drugs in Berea


The Kentucky State Police arrested a man recently for allegedly trafficking marijuana.

Officers went to a residence in Berea in an attempt to serve a warrant but instead arrested a different individual; 67-year-old Stephen Daffron.

According to reports, there was a container containing a white crystal substance suspected to be methamphetamine that can be see in the hallway of the residence in plain view.

Upon searching, a small bag with suspected methamphetamine was allegedly found on Daffron. Further search of the residence uncovered a pill bottle with several different pills in it (suspected to be suboxone and other unknown pills). Daffron told police that it was his girlfriend’s pill bottle.

Other items reportedly seized from the residence were marijuana (separated in three bags for sale), two digital scales, a box of plastic bag, marijuana pipe, methamphetamine pipe, hypodermic needles, and along with the paraphernalia was US currency.

Daffron was charged with 1st degree trafficking in controlled substance (methamphetamine), 1st degree 1st offense possession of controlled substance (methamphetamine), 1st offense trafficking in marijuana, 3rd degree possession of controlled substance (drug unspecified).
