Berea Police recently arrested a man after his mother had to call authorities when he attempted to contact her. According to the citation, William Issac Croucher’s mother had an Emergency Protection Order/Domestic Violence order out on her son, and he violated by attempting to call her and message her on Facebook.

When officers arrived, the victim showed proof of the attempted contact. The citation also details that Croucher had gotten his phone out and began a Facebook Live video stream of him attempting to break into his mother’s home, including allegedly kicking in the back door.

Officers located Croucher on Berea College’s campus outdoors, and the smell of alcohol was allegedly apparent. He was arrested and charged with violation of the EPO/DVO as well as alcohol intoxication in a public place.
