Car Pileup this Afternoon in Danville


This afternoon, Danville Police responded to the area of Hustonville Road and Lisa Avenue for reports of an injury traffic collision, where cars were discovered piled on one another.

According to a press release from the Danville Police Department, a Honda Civic, driven by Tammy Dugan of Danville was traveling northbound on Hustonville Road when she collided into the back of a Toyota Corolla, driven by Alex Grigsby of Hustonville, who was stopping for traffic in front of him.

This caused Grigsby’s vehicle to collide with a Jeep Cherokee, driven by Ashli Miller of Danville, who had stopped in front of his vehicle.

Emergency crews treated a passenger in Dugan’s vehicle, Judy Travis, 60, of Danville, who was taken to Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.

The extent of her injuries was not known at press time and there were no other injuries were reported.

Danville City Fire and Boyle County EMS also responded to assist at the scene.
