Fugitive Captured in Berea with out of State Warrants


A report of a suspicious person in the McDonald’s parking lot in Berea led to an arrest when officers discovered the suspect was wanted in Ohio.

When police arrived, it was evident that the suspect, 58 year old Linville Hall of Berea had outstanding warrants active out of Ohio when the officer recognized him. However, when the officer attempted to take Hall into custody he pulled away, and according to police then tried to evade police on foot.

A female subject with Hall was also placed under arrest for outstanding warrants, identified as 27 year old Desarae Thacker of Berea.

Hall was charged with Fleeing or Evading Police on foot and Resisting Arrest.

When the two were transported to the Madison County Detention Center, several pills and a powdery substance were located on Thacker’s person, adding a charge of first degree Promoting Contraband.
