Berea man leads police on car and foot chase, incurs 13 charges


An attempted traffic stop led to over a dozen charges for a Berea man recently, including fleeing and evading police by car and on foot. According to the citation, Joshua Agee of Berea was observed by an officer disregarding a stop sign and failing to put on his turn signal.

The officer followed Agee, where he allegedly attempted to evade the cruiser over 80 miles per hour, even crossing the double yellow line. The chase continued until he hit a ditch and the car was stopped in a yard. Police then detail that Agee fled the vehicle and was chased by an officer into a backyard.

Agee was then taken into custody, and allegedly dropped a baggie of suspected methamphetamine weighing 9 grams.

It was later discovered that he had multiple warrants out for his arrest, and that his license was suspended among other traffic and safety violations. Agee was taken to the detention center and charged with the following:
