WBONtv has learned that the Estill County Grand Jury has elected not to indict Charles Collins of Irvine on charges stemming from his alleged killing of a search and rescue dog. No charges will be pressed at this time on Collins.

Collins was accused of shooting Hunter earlier this year. The case was bound over to the Grand Jury along with additional charges.

The lost search dog in Redlick Rd. & Kissy Branch Rd area had been found, shot in a ditch down the road from his home. An empty shotgun case was found in the area, as well as blood. Neighbors had reported hearing gunshots around the time Hunter went missing, however he was not located until this afternoon.
